My relationship with Mark the CareerAve team spans more than eight years with two different, high-growth technology companies, VCE and McAfee. VCE was a joint venture between VMware, Cisco and EMC. In 2010 we were challenged with the aggressive goal of growing from 30 employees to 1,000 within 12 months. Mark and his team were engaged for a number of initiatives including global sales recruiting all recruiting operations and the selection and implementation of our first MSP.
Immediately upon leaving VCE, now Dell, and joining McAfee in February 2017, I once again retaining Mark and his organization to aid us in the reconstruction of the global talent acquisition organization. This would prepare McAfee for a spin-out from Intel so McAfee could be taken private. In addition to re-organizing our TA model, we had to simultaneously scale our global recruiting team and resources and had to quickly create highly scalable, fluid processes. Mark and the CareerAve team continue to be instrumental in the helping McAfee grow our TA team, develop and launch multiple global talent acquisition programs and generate operational intelligence.
